On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, as part of the CFU Challenge 2026 U-14 Boys organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), our young Grenadiers, playing at the Cap Cana Sports Cityen complex, defeated the "Young Warriors" of Trinidad and Tobago [4-1]. This second consecutive victory propels our Grenadiers into the semi-finals of the competition. On Wednesday, August 19, at 1:30 PM (local and Haitian time), they will face El Huracán Azul of Puerto Rico in their final group match.

Starting XI : Only one change was made for the match against Puerto Ric, Coach Jean Marc Alexandre replaced Benoît Athan Pierre with Jay Messi Jay.

Summary: Haiti, in Group B (Tier I), delivered a remarkable performance, comfortably defeating Trinidad and Tobago [4-1].

Jodeley Delmas set the tone in the 3rd minute [1-0] with a free kick, before Ronelson Pelé Janvier doubled Haiti's lead in the 25th minute [2-0]. Jerry Petit-Homme then scored the third goal with a long-range strike in the 35th minute, making it [3-0] for Haiti at halftime.

Upon returning from the locker room, Trinidad and Tobago narrowed the gap for the Young Warriors thanks to a penalty converted by Jiair Nanton [3-1], but Haiti maintained control of the game in the second half.

Petit-Homme scored his second goal in the 67th minute [4-1], restoring the Grenadiers' three-goal lead and securing the three points for the victory.

Thanks to this win, Haiti has 6 points and remains at the top of Group B.

Regardless of the result of the match against Puerto Rico this Wednesday, August 19, the Grenadiers will remain first in the group (after Puerto Rico's surprise defeat against French Guiana [0-1]), and Haiti has therefore already qualified for the semifinals.
